Strange issue with print
am 31.01.2008 18:43:38 von michael.risch.wvuHi -
I am generating an RSS feed for a wiki and a blog. The blog feed
works fine, but the wiki feed has an issue with the print function
(note that I have tested with echo, printf, print_r, with the same
results).
Here is the problem - with the wiki feed, the print command adds a
newline at the beginning of the feed, such that rss readers don't
recognize the XML. This line does not get generated with nearly
identical blog text. Debugging shows no such newline in the variable
contents just prior to the print command.
Perhaps someone can test/verify and/or let me know why one works and
one doesn't. The text is below.
Thanks in advance for any help.
Regards,
Michael Risch
